147 scholars and experts have been elected to the European Academy of Engineering as part of its 2026 membership.
Representing a wide range of disciplines—including engineering, fundamental science, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, energy and environmental research—the newly elected members reflect the increasingly global and interdisciplinary nature of engineering excellence.
Among the 147 newly elected Members are 51 recipients of major international awards, including Nobel Prize laureates, together with recipients of the Turing Award, Fields Medal, Breakthrough Prize, Wolf Prize and Eni Award.
Prof. De Micheli is also a Fellow of ACM, AAAS and IEEE, a Member of the Academia Europaea and an International Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
